Permanent residency right is approved at minimun stay of 1 year in Japan

Government will allow non Japanese management and engineers to acquire permanent residence rights for a minimum stay of one year.  Personnel with specialized knowledge has been subject to stay for 5 years to have permanent residency rights, but Government has shorten this period to 3years, and you can apply for one year if you meet certain condition.  To mitigate requirements for permanent residency right, Japan intends to improve the productibity of national economy by absorbing specialized talent such as consultants, engineers, professors, translators, chefs from abroad.  This is historically the best timing to work and study in Japan.
